Welcome to fourth grade. We start our reading unit with an adapted version of The Time Machine. If you have an old broken clock, please send it in. Our second book will be a mystery entitled, The Mystery of the Mystery Meat. You can pick up that book and another book for the class at Watchung Booksellers. (Our first writers' celebration will be a Mystery Theater lunch on October 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the classroom). Please send in $5.00 if you would like me to pick up your child's copy of the book. Everyone also needs:
-two five subject spiral notebooks
- a four inch binder
-ten dividers
-page protectors (about 200)
-about 200 different colored index cards
-an index card box
-5 different colored highlighters
-markers (any markers)
-a chalk slate w/ chalk or small memo board w/an erasable marker
(and eraser)
-a pencil sharpener
