PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

Here's how math will happen: everyone gets an inventory test, to see where they are and what they need to learn/ know for Math. After that the Math lessons are taught from the book, in order. Students do the lesson/classwork. When they finish the group classwork, they are required to do the next thing in their individual math packets, which are based on their inventory tests. There will be a pre-test for each chapter. If a student scores 100% on the pre-test, that student gets to skip that chapter (classwork and homework), but must instead do/hand in the next chapter from their packet (based on their inventory test of what they needed to learn). The inventory test has no ceiling, I keep testing, until I find something new that your child can learn in Math. I love math! Math tests once a month, on the class lessons, with bonus questions from packets. Mathematics homework and will be on the Mathematics page. Math enrichment is on the Extension Activities Page.
