American History

Wherever we are in history is where we will be in literature.We'll start in Ancient Greece and then have our Greek festival October 31st. That means we read "Jason and the Golden Fleece." If we have time we'll read "Hercules" also. Then we'll have a democracy to compare to American government. The rest of the year we're in the good ole U.S. of A. We'll study Native American History, the Revolutionary War (big magazine planned), the Civil War, Black History, Women's History, Geography, Economics, Cultures, Civics and Government.

Expect monthly tests and bimonthly projects. Details will be here and handed out.
